Dreamy Newport Wedding at Belle Mer

June 7, 2022

As far as New England wedding venues go, Belle Mer is a tough one to beat. I knew when Melanie and Marty told me that Belle Mer was their Newport wedding venue of choice that it was bound to be a beautiful day. Newport Rhode Island has a special place in this couple’s heart and it isn’t hard to see why.

Rhode Island Beach Wedding

Flair Boston is the go-to for Boston brides looking for unique wedding dresses and they certainly delivered with the stunning Kelly Faetanini gown that Melanie chose. The bride looked beautiful in what ended up being the perfect beach wedding dress as she and groom Marty exchanged vows at Kings Beach. As unpredictable as New England weather may be, Melanie and Marty struck gold with a day that began with sunshine and ended with fog. We could hear the water splashing up on the rocks, knowing that hidden in the fog was miles upon miles of Newport views. The fog set us up for some stunning shots!

Beautiful florals at Belle Mer

As the ceremony came to a close, we headed back to Belle Mer where they had a Del’s Lemonade stand waiting for guests as they entered the reception. Melanie went with dusty blue flowers to accent the white flowers and greenery in her arrangements. Sarah Rodgers and her team did a phenomenal job with all of the flowers! They incorporated the blue and white color palette beautifully. The entire reception could not have gone better. From the heartfelt speeches to the amazing music by Soul City Band, Melanie and Marty had an incredible night. This was truly a day that I was honored to be a part of.

Congrats Melanie and Marty!
