Timeless & Romantic Intimate Boston Wedding at XV Beacon Hotel

August 23, 2022

Amanda and Sean had their beautiful, intimate Boston wedding at XV Beacon with 14 of their closest family and friends. The first part of the day was intimate with Amanda’s best friend and mom who helped her get ready while Sean got ready solo. We met on the rooftop over looking the breathtaking Boston skyline where Sean was eagerly awaiting Amanda. Their first look was so special and the two got to spend some time alone before they tied the knot!

As we walked through the streets of Boston for their couple’s portraits, Amanda and Sean’s family met us in the Boston Public Garden where we continued with portraits and caught the most gorgeous summer light. Amanda’s bouquet from Central Square Florist photographed beautifully, featuring cream colored florals and greenery with pops of peach and periwinkle.

Dancing and drinks began back on the rooftop over looking Boston and we were able to catch the prettiest sunset. I even climbed a fire escape to catch the most epic portrait of the two of them along with their family.

Dinner was at Mooo in Beacon Hill in their wine cellar and if you haven’t been there you 100% need too! It’s intimate, classy and delicious at that! Amanda and Sean’s faces were lit up with laughter, smiles and some tears listening to their families speeches. The setting was private and cozy with florals lining the table and plenty of candlelight.

Intimate weddings like this are so special to me because of how much more personal it is. Big weddings are amazing but, it is so nice to capture those unique, smaller moments as well. It seems as though more and more couples are choosing to have smaller, intimate weddings and I am here for it.
