Boston is a special place for Lindsay and Anthony. After meeting in college and many years of friendship, their relationship actually began when the two took a trip to Boston together. They spent the day walking the entire city bonding over our shared pursuit of travel and new experiences, commitment to family, and their desire to live life fully, passionately, (and often) impulsively as they could.
Since their first visit and the serval that followed in the years after, they always felt that Boston finally brought them together as a couple. After they were engaged, they walked through the Boston Public Library for the first time and Lindsay and Anothony knew right away this was the most perfect venue for their wedding and to celebrate with family and friends.
A Summer Color Palette
The day began capturing all of the wedding day details and getting ready photos at a nearby hotel. Lindsay picked a beautiful sage color theme that was incorporated throughout all of the decor and details from the bridesmaid dresses to the stationary, to the silk bow on their vows. The sage green looked so beautiful for a summer wedding color scheme with touches of pink and orange incorporated throughout the flowers.
Lindsay and Anthony wanted to have a grand first look before their ceremony. Inside the Boston Library, I had Lindsay come down the beautiful staircase in the McKim Lobby while Anthony waited for her at the bottom. It was such a sweet moment when they finally saw each other! We spent some time finding spots throughout the library to take portraits. The balcony overlooking the courtyard was my favorite spot!
Boston Public Library Wedding Ceremony and Reception
It was a perfect warm, evening in Boston – one of those top ten days! The couple chose to have their ceremony outside in the McKim courtyard at the center of the library. As it grew darker, it became even more stunning. The market lights, the lit-up arches, and the fountain looked gorgeous! It was an emotional moment seeing Linday walk down the aisle with her dad. And even though Anthony and Linday had already seen each other, Anthony was still blown away by the moment.
The reception was full of dancing and laughs. The Boston Public library has so many unique and inviting spaces for guests to enjoy time together. Congratulation to Lindsay and Anthony! What to see more Boston weddings? Check out A Colorfully Chic Autumn Wedding in Boston.
