Dreamy Winter Wedding in Massachusetts

January 21, 2021

This winter wedding outside of Boston Massachusetts was straight out of a dream! The snowcapped golf course was an idyllic setting for gorgeous portraits with sweet kisses and larger than life smiles.

Winter wedding wonder location

The winter wonderland we experienced with Alex and Andrew’s wedding was everything they could have wished for. The location, Blue Hill Country Club, added a classic touch. It felt like we had an entire oasis to ourselves on this New England golf course and country club with views of the wooded rolling hills.

About the fairytale couple

Andrew is actually the brother of a bride I photographed last year. When Alex and Andrew got engaged and started the planning process, they reached out to me to document their 2020 winter wedding in Massachusetts. I was honored as it spoke measures about just how much the family trusted me with their memories. Even better, when I saw Andrew and his family again, it felt like I had known them much longer than just photographing his sister’s wedding last fall.

Alex and Andrew are the true meaning of love. As a photographer, you grow to learn when a couple is in love and when a couple is REALLY in love. These two were showing affection every minute and it was like watching a fairy tale. Alex and Andrew were a little nervous getting in front of the camera like most people. Yet, after their engagement session, I could tell they were ready for their big day.

A note regarding their genuine gratitude

I cannot say enough about the couple’s appreciation throughout this entire process of planning a wedding during COVID. They showered me and my photography business with love. Typically, I’m the one doing the gushing, but their endless thanks did not go unappreciated.

I showed up at their house on their wedding day and not only were their engagement session photos placed everywhere you look, Andrew surprised Alex with a hand painting of one of the photos from their engagement session. I teared up. Seeing couples who appreciate your work and who don’t just see you as someone with a mere camera in hand means so much to me.

Majestic winter wedding in Massachusetts

A winter wedding is something I dreamed of photographing and the fluffy snow on their wedding day made me so happy. Alex and Andrew were probably the nicest couple I’ve worked with. Especially considering that there was a pandemic going on, they never failed to be kind throughout the process. Thank you both for letting me be part of your engagement celebration and winter wedding in Massachusetts!
