Andrew and Alex’s engagement session was a mix of casual fall poses and formal engagement photos. We started the session in formal wear, with Alex wearing a sleek, pale blue dress that perfectly complemented Andrew’s navy blue chinos. The simple bouquet and stunning, green backdrop were perfect touches to these formal engagement photos.
A couple meant for one another
Andrew is the brother of one of my former brides. Right when I met Alex, I knew they were meant for each other. Both are caring and genuine. The way they talk about each other how really shows their love.
Just look at how they laugh, smile and interact with each another! Their engagement session was filled with everything you could ask for — sunshine, love and photos that feel like them.
Formal engagement photos on a trail surrounded by nature
We actually took their photos at their favorite running spot! It’s a really beautiful area with lots of gorgeous greenery, flowers and sunlight. We caught the sunset there too. It felt like a secluded garden, not a running trail. Now when they run here, I know they’ll smile thinking about the romantic memories formed here.
Golden hour with their puppy
The location transformed at sunset. Their sweet dog, Louie, joined in for a few photos too! I loved the energetic and bubbly elements of these formal engagement photos.
Front porch photos
Alex loves the “home vibe” so we took some photos at their house on the front porch and inside too. The slight fall foliage and hidden pumpkin added just the right amount of fall feelings.
In-home engagement photos
We headed inside for some cozy photos with cuddles on the couch and kisses over coffee. What a cuteness overload!
