I truly believe there is no photograph more beautiful than that of someone in love. I love telling stories not only through my work but also through a short conversation with someone. My blog is a way to create a unique story in an organic way for viewers to relive their best moments all over again.
Emily and Peter’s journey to forever started when they met at work, Keeping America Beautiful. Now their wedding day was upon us and it was truly the American Dream! The festivities began with the wedding rehearsal at the historical Ocean House. The venue has unbeatable coastal views. The feeling of fresh air brushing against your face set the mood for a blissful day. I was so lucky to be their Boston Wedding photographer, to capture every minute of it!
I was so excited to be back at Weekapaug to photograph Emily and Peters wedding. After photographing their engagement session I knew the wedding would be STUNNING!
All roads lead to Weekapaug Inn, Rhodes Island where Emily and Peter exchanged their vows. It was the perfect spot to begin their new lives together as Emily grew up at her family’s beach house just down the road. Peter met Emily at her family beach home to do a first look. They both gleamed with the biggest smiles when they saw each other.
Then off to the venue we went! Any Boston Wedding Photographer, would have been drooling over this backdrop! The large windows, light and a lush open area made for lovely portraits. The bridal party was made up of a large group, but it showed how loving Emily and Peter are in their lives to be surrounded by so many people.
Emilie’s sheek dress was made by Made with Love Bridal and her bridesmaids dresses where the most beautiful dusty blue by Bella Bridesmaids. With not a cloud in sight and Emilie had the best seven brides maids standing by her side and eleven by Peter’s, they were ready to say their vows!
The ceremony overlooked the ocean and one of their closest friends officiated which was so special. There’s nothing I love more than when you have something so personalized be apart of your wedding. The chemistry between the Emily and Peter is so enviable with their closest friends and family by their side. After the ceremony we snuck out to do some portraits and wrapped up on the water in front of the Inn on Emily’s uncles boat! They made quite an entrance to the reception driving the boat onto the dock of the Inn after their wedding photos.
It was pretty clear Emily and Peter were Eagles fans! They had personalized towels for each guest to wave around when they entered. The beautiful tables and amazing flowers by Michelle Jeanne Floral (@michellejeannefloral) were laid with handwritten sea shells with names, hydrangeas which is Emily’s favorite flower and tons of greenery. East Coast soul was the band and they rocked it all night long! The dance floor was packed all night Peter really showed off his dance moves which was quite fun to watch. I’m so greatful to have captures such an amazing day for Emilie and Peter. Congratulations Emily and Peter!
